Ragnar Bey

Ragnar Bey is a Swedish musician and vocalist, best known as the singer of the acclaimed Swedish folk-punk band Crash Nomada. As the band’s lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Bey has played a central role in shaping their distinctive sound — a powerful fusion of punk rock energy and rich folk influences.

Since the mid 90’s, Bey has been an active muscian in punk rock bands and spent many years busking in the streets in different cities. With the band Crash Nomada he has helped define a sound that combines raw intensity with melodic storytelling and socially engaged lyricism.

Beyond his work with Crash Nomada, Ragnar Bey has participated in various collaborations and compilation projects, working with electronic artists such as Daboo and Café de Calaveras. His artistic scope also extends into interdisciplinary projects, including involvement in short films with artists War San and Attila Urbán.

Bey has also had a long time interest in experimental avant garde and ambient music, mainly playing the electric guitar. In 2026 a collaboration with War San is schedueld for release, the experimental ambient album Osynliga stigar.

– I have talked about a solo album for many years, with some acoustic songs that are more calm than the Crash Nomada stuff. My plan is to release some singles during 2026, Ragnar says.
